ADRA Tunisia implements a livelihoods project that seeks to improve coping mechanisms of refugees to be more self reliant. ADRA assists refugees through wage employment initiatives, vocational training enrollment, and micro project creation.

Give Goats ADRA Tunisia
ADRA Tunisia supports families living in remote semi-desert areas in Central and Southern Tunisia, by providing them with what they like to call “the best capital animals.” Each household
beneficiary living in extreme poverty receives over 5 goats along with veterinary assistance,farming training, numeracy and literacy education and economic orientation.
This apiculture initiative is providing impoverished
families with sets of quality beehives, equipment, professional training, literacy and numeracy skills along with marketing assistance.This project implemented in North-Western Tunisia is part of our national strategy for sustainable livelihoods. So far 251 direct beneficiaries have directly benefited from this income-generating project.
